Parents of students from Avondale, Chambliss, Redlands, Hamill, East Brainerd Elementary, First Steps, Orchard Knob Elementary, Signal Centers, and Woodmore Elementary will meet to plan activities and discuss issues pertaining to their centers and classrooms. Come explore one of the many ways Head Start and Early Head Start is led and driven by its parents!
There is no magic parenting technique, but it never hurts to have a few tricks up your sleeve. Find out the #1 mistake parents make and learn a better way to use the counting method for annoying behavior. We will discuss how to encourage good behavior and the importance of building self-esteem in your child.
"Enjoy your food with health in mind."--This class is for parents of students enrolled in Avondale, Chambliss, Redlands, Hamill, East Brainerd Elementary, First Steps, Orchard Knob Elementary, Signal Centers, and Woodmore Elementary. Come and have a tasty time!
The Policy Council will meet to review financial statements, policies and procedures, and govern the Head Start/Early Head Start program. This meeting is open to the public though the agenda and voting rights are reserved for elected representatives.
Our centers will be closed in observance with the Thanksgiving holiday.
